About us

Hello everybody, Carmen, Dan, Charlotte and Piper here. We are a married couple in our thirties from Townsville Australia. We have two beautiful daughters with a third surprise due in Jan 17. Carmen is a registered nurse and Dan is a fulltime urban firefighter. We have just purchased a 2006 Jayco Expander and want to answer the age old question “Is a caravan worth it”. As we work fulltime and have everyday family commitments, we are hoping to blog our travels and detail cost and savings, to let the readers decide if a caravan is really worth it. Thanks for your time and We hope We are useful for the not so rich or barefoot caravanners
